Please remember to claim the Manitoba Home Renters Tax Credit when you file your Income Tax return.
Rent receipts are not a legal requirement to obtain this credit, but as a courtesy, we delivered receipts for 2015 rent paid by you last month. Please keep these receipts as the Canada Revenue Agency may ask you to prove the amount of rent paid in 2015.
Tenants who moved out during 2015 received their 2015 rent receipt with their security deposit refund.
Duplicate copies are available from our office for a small fee.
